To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Ponyta is featured in a rare illustration exclusive to China. Unlike previous versions, this card showcases a soft and dreamlike aesthetic, capturing the spirited energy of the Horse Pokémon in a soothing spring setting.
This centerpiece uses multi-layer holographic printing technology, giving unprecedented depth to Ponyta's flames which appear to dance depending on the angle of the light.

What truly distinguishes the Chinese "Gem Packs" is the introduction of numbered prismatic variations. For each Pokémon in the set, such as the Ponyta shown, collectors can find up to 6 distinct holographic finishes, plus a Rare (IR) Illustration.
These cards utilize a "Gem" reflective film that creates unique geometric patterns. It's a fusion of traditional playing cards and luxury craftsmanship, designed specifically for the discerning collector market.
