What is Storm Emeralda?
Storm Emeralda (ME6) is the sixth expansion of the MEGA era for the Pokémon TCG in Japan. It features Mega Rayquaza-ex, the celestial dragon of Hoenn, surrounded by Kyogre and Groudon — a direct nod to the Emerald weather trio. The set includes 76 numbered cards, plus 37 secret rare cards (AR, SR, SAR, and a gold UR card), making it one of the most sought-after sets of Summer 2026.
Alongside Mega Rayquaza-ex, three other Mega-Evolutions make their debut: Mega Samurott-ex, Mega Golurk-ex, and Mega Malamar-ex, accompanied by Raikou-ex, Talonflame-ex, Heat Rotom-ex, and Wishiwashi-ex.
Mega-Evolutions ex hit much harder than classic Pokémon-ex, with HP and attacks worthy of the format's strongest cards.
In return, when a Mega-Evolution ex is Knocked Out, the opponent takes 3 Prize cards. Each Mega played is a gamble.
Mega Rayquaza-ex is the absolute star of the set, available as a full art SR, a Kazuki Minami-signed SAR, and a gold UR card.
