Back to the Origins.

To understand the importance of this collaboration, we must go back to the childhood of Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of Pokémon. Nicknamed "Dr. Bug" by his classmates, he spent his days collecting insects in the forests of Machida. It was this biological fascination that gave birth to the world's most lucrative franchise.

Today, the circle is complete. By partnering with London's Natural History Museum , Pokémon is doing more than just selling plush toys: the brand is legitimizing its bestiary as a subject of quasi-scientific study. The exhibition and pop-up shop (which is fully booked until April) transform visitors into naturalists.

An Educational Mission

Unlike purely aesthetic collaborations (such as the one with Van Gogh), this one has an educational purpose. The profits from sales support the museum's 400 scientists who are working on solutions to the global climate emergency.

The Jumbo "Pikachu at the Museum" promo card is more than just a trophy: it symbolizes the bridge between fiction and the conservation of real species. It will be distributed exclusively in physical stores to encourage the public to rediscover the museum galleries.

At the heart of Pokécology.

The foundational work of this collection treats Pokémon as complex biological organisms. Here's an exclusive look at the interior illustrations.

Naturalistic Aesthetics

The art direction of the "Pokécology" collection is directly inspired by 19th-century encyclopedic plates. Forget the saturated "anime" style: here, the illustrations are reminiscent of the works of Charles Darwin or Ernst Haeckel.

The merchandise reflects this approach: the "Ancient Species" notebooks evoke archaeological field journals, while the pins feature taxonomic diagrams. It's a celebration of biodiversity, whether real or imagined.
