30th CELEBRATION is the MEGA expansion pack that celebrates 30 years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game: a booster with 100% holographic cards , featuring an unprecedented rarity, exclusive illustrations, and iconic cards from the game's history.
For its 30th anniversary, the Pokémon Trading Card Game unveils an exceptional expansion pack in the new MEGA series, marked by the grand return of Mega Evolution . Unprecedented: all cards in the set are holographic , and the set honors all Legendary Pokémon .
On the program: a new rarity FUR (Futuristic Rare) designed by YOSHIROTTEN , 30 Pikachu cards illustrated by 30 artists, and 30 mythical cards reissued with a special finish.

The 30th anniversary is being celebrated in style
The official 30th anniversary website has just unveiled the celebration program: major events, entertainment, and a monumental projection in Tokyo.
30th Celebration Event
Two major anniversary events are announced in Japan:
- Sunday, October 25, 2026 — Makuhari Messe (Chiba)
- Saturday, October 31 & Sunday, November 1, 2026 — INTEX Osaka
The detailed program will be unveiled soon. Events and campaigns in Pokémon Card Gyms are also planned throughout the anniversary year.
Tokyo Luminous Night
Since March 20, 2026 , the façade of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and Tomin Plaza have been hosting "Pokémon Card Game TOKYO LUMINOUS NIGHT — Celebrating 30 Years" : a projection mapping show that brings iconic cards to life in large format, from the very first to the most recent, with their abilities and attacks staged.
The official 30th anniversary posters adopt the futuristic aesthetic of the FUR rarity, designed by YOSHIROTTEN.
