📲 Pokémon GO & strategy: at the heart of this edition
The competitions highlighted a highly strategic approach to the game, particularly in the Pokémon GO format. The world's best trainers shared their builds, decks, and incredibly tense battles. The virtual arenas became the stage for intense duels, driven by tactical choices and precise timing.
Never before has so much content circulated online regarding deck combinations, counter-strategies , and the best optimizations for competitive Pokémon GO. This marks a major turning point for the format, which is now establishing itself as a true esports scene.
🌍 A unifying event following the Olympic Games
Just a few months after the Olympic Games, the Worlds successfully extended the spirit of community. Both outside and inside the arena, entire areas were dedicated to the community:
- 🔄 Pin & Card Exchange Area
- 🖼️ Mini Pokémon museum retracing the history of the TCG
- 🎮 Free play areas for friendly competition
It was not just a tournament, but a global celebration of Pokémon passion, between old and new fans.
🎨 Japanese cards & visual emotions

Series like Black Bolt (SV11b) and Shiny Treasure ex were everywhere: in shop windows, tournaments, and conversations. Their AR and SAR cards proved once again that Japanese TCGs remain at the forefront of graphic beauty and storytelling.
Gardevoir ex moved the audience with its gentleness. Dragapult ex shone as much with its presence as with its performance. And Jirachi AR , suspended among the stars, reminded everyone why we love collecting.
