Pikachu AR 173/165 (SV2a)
Art Rare (AR) — SV2a Pokémon 151 Series
The universal mascot of the franchise radiates happiness in this Art Rare (AR) version from the Pokémon Card 151 expansion. Pikachu is depicted joyfully galloping through the streets of Kanto, surrounded by its Pokémon friends in the background, perfectly illustrating the nostalgia and magic of the early days of the adventure.
ID: 173/165. Rarity: AR (Art Rare). Type: Electric. Series: SV2a.
Artist: Hiroyuki Yamamoto
Hiroyuki Yamamoto offers a magnificently clear scene, teeming with little nods to the original 151 Pokémon. The glossy Japanese AR finish accentuates Pikachu's iconic yellow glow and the brightness of this sunny day, making this card one of the most sought-after and emblematic pieces of the set.
"It stores electricity in its cheek pouches. If it gets angry, it releases it all at once." — Japanese SV2a Series.
